x2 festivalen
x2 festivalen is a music, sport and culture festival in volda, sunnmøre, it's the largest extreme winter sports festival of norway. i have been head of web and a part of the social media team since 2025, working across three visually distinct editions, each built around a different identity.
2025 edition
visual identity by x2's designer. working from his color palette, handwritten typography, and paint bomb stickers, i redesigned and expanded the website and created the social media content, extending the language through organic blob shapes and paintbrush strokes across the season.

working from the designer's color palette and pixelify sans, i developed the retro gaming universe concept end-to-end, building it across the website and extending it to social media content.

after a vibrant 2026, the team agreed to go back to basics with clean black and white, returning to older fonts and elements. the current website holds the 2026 photos and key information while the new edition is being prepared. alongside this, x2 is leading the campaign to establish propellhallen as a permanent cultural venue in volda, i created content for the initiative and will continue supporting the campaign. follow the progress on x2festivalen.no.
